About:

The Ableism As Animal Monologue Series is a series of six monologues inspired by coloring sheets I completed during a psychiatric hospitalization in 2024. The series examines themes related to ableism and sanism in psychiatric health care. Each of the monologues uses animals, a special interest of mine, as an entry point for exploration. Full text of the monologues is available here.
